  • What is Work From Here?
    Work From here is an online platform connecting remote workers with hyperlocal venues offering workspaces.
  • How will I know I am getting value for money?
    All venues list their offers and costs allowing you to choose the options most valuable to you.
  • How do I make a booking on the website?
    You can make a booking in two ways: Use the map on the home page to choose a venue, then select ‘book’, and use the filters to choose your date and time. Or go straight to the filterns, choose a date and time to see all venue options. Once you have selected your date and time, follow the process to book and pay for your venue. You will receive a booking confirmation email. You can pay using all major debit and credit cards. PayPal is coming soon.
  • How will I be notified of my bookings?
    You will receive a booking confirmation email.
  • Can I book more than 1 person in at one time?
    If the venue allows, you can add multiple people to your booking up to the capacity of the workspace available. This is calculated automatically by our booking system.
  • How do I sign up as a member?
    There is no sign up required. when you book, your personal information will be safe and secure, and you can find out more about our privacy policy.
  • How will me details be used
    We explain how your information will be used in our Privacy Policy.
  • Why should I choose my options through Work From Here rather than go direct to the venue?
    Work From Here offers a choice of venues local to you. Using the Work From Here website allows you to book the best venue offers and guarantees a space and warm welcome. venues also offer special offers and deals that are often exclusive to the Work From Here platform.
  • How much does it cost to be a customer member?
    To sign up as a Work From Here user is completely FREE! We will soon be launching a subscription service where for a small monthly fee you will be able to access exclusive Work From Here venue offers.
  • How do I pay?
    You can pay using all major debit and credit cards. PayPal is coming soon.
  • Do I need to be a member to book a venue?
    No, just follow the links to book a workspace with your chosen venue.
  • Is there a limit to how often / how little I book a venue?
    No, you are can book as much or as little guaranteed productive space as you wish.
  • Can I offer discounts / special offers etc on my web page?
    Yes, you can promote three offers as long as they meet the minimum package specification as described above. You can include additional food and beverage options, for example: Minimum requirement for a ‘by the hour’ package: £5.00 to include 1 x free hot drink You could decide to offer: £7.50 to include luxury hot chocolate and flapjack; or £5.00 to include two free hot drinks What you decide to include in each package is completely up to you, as long as it meets the minimum standard.
  • How will I be notified of bookings?
    You will receive an email confirmation for all Bookings.
  • What do I need to offer as a minimum?
    Our Venue Standards set out the minimum offering: Fast WiFi Table, chair and power supply Refreshments Toilets COVID secure and clean environment Also you will need to provide up to three offers for home workers, meeting or exceeding the following minimum standards: By the hour: Minimum cost £5, to include minimum 1 x free hot drink By the session: Minimum cost £15 to include minimum 2 free hot drinks By the day: Minimum cost £20, minimum bottomless hot drinks You can of course include more benefits, and charge higher prices, but the minimum package standards are in place to ensure a consistent and fair offering for our customers.
  • Is there a limit / maximum amount of space I have to offer?
    There is no maximum. As long as you meet the minimum standards requirements, then you can become a venue member of Work From Here.
  • What happens when the free trial ends?
    For venues participating in the free trial, from 1 December membership will cost £10 per month and venues will be charged 20% commission on customer bookings. This includes credit card fees and all communications associated with the booking. You can cancel at any time.
  • Do I need to be a member to list my venue?
    Yes. You will need to register as a member to promote your business and Work From Here packages and offers. You can cancel at any time.
  • What are the minimum facilities a venue MUST offer?

  • How will my venue details be used?
    We explain how your information will be used in our Privacy Policy.
  • How much does membership cost?
    For venues that sign up before 1 June 2021, membership is free until 1 December 2021. All you will pay is a 4% transaction fee on any bookings made through our platform. After the free trial, or for venues who join after 1 June 2021, membership will cost £10 per month. You can cancel at any time.
  • Can you help me set up my Venue on your site?
    Setting up your venue is super-easy. All you need to do is complete our registration form. and we will be in touch to let you know that your venue is live on the site. You will need to provide details of three packages that you would like to offer customers, and the times you wish to offer space to remote workers. If you have any problems completing the form we are happy to help. Contact us at info@myworkfromhere.co.uk.
  • Why should I sign my venue up ?
    At Work From Here we provide an opportunity to attract a new market and additional footfall to your venue, through connecting you with remote workers in your local area. By offering valued packages in agreed time slots it allows venues a new revenue stream and opportunity to up sell once the guest has arrived. The venue decides when they have space, how much they will charge and what added value they will offer (based on a minimum cost and offer).
  • What is included in my membership?
    Member venues will have a unique venue page on our website, and will be able to promote offers via the ‘packages’ to remote workers. Member venues are able to use the Work From Here branding in their marketing activity to promote themselves as a ‘remote worker friendly’ venue. Member venues will also be able to access additional marketing opportunities, for an additional charge, including promoted social posts via Work From Here social channels, and emailshots to the Work From Here customer database.
  • How much will I pay for each customer booking?
    For venues signing up after 1 June 2021 (or after 1 December 2021 for venues who signed up for the free trial) you will be charged 20% commission on customer bookings. This includes credit card fees and all communications associated with the booking.
  • How will I be paid?
    During sign-up, we'll send you a link to our payout platform. This is where you add your company and payment details. You can visit the payout platform at any time to view outstanding payouts, payout history and update your details. Once a fortnight you will be sent a statement of all bookings made over the previous 14 days. Once you confirm the statement is correct, payments (minus our deduction for processing fees and commission) will be made within 7 days.
  • Once booked, does the website close out that slot automatically?"
    Once table and time allocations have been used up, they will no longer be available to book on the WFH website.
